Production of planetary drives at Trasmital Bonfiglioli benefits from a highly specialised and automated manufacturing plant with its output of planetary drives representing a significant share of the total production of power transmission equipment from the Bonfiglioli Group.

Single component parts are produced with modern, state-of-the-art CNC machinery. Assembling and final testing are also conducted on automated work stations providing consistently high quality standards and excellent cost effectiveness.

300 Series – Multi-Purpose Planetary Gear boxes :

The 300 series planetary gear units can be driven by hydraulic motors. They can be used for both self-propelled vehicles and fixed plants where hydraulic power is used.

Their compactness combined with high transmittable power is ideal for the high specific power that can be transmitted from hydraulic units. This is an ideal choice for all severe duty applications where shock loads and impacts are high and also because they offer several options for mounting, gear layout, output shaft and motor interface.

The range covers 16 different sizes for torque of up to 450,000 Nm. The modular construction enables a wealth of versions to be obtained both in output and input for coupling to the main makes of hydraulic motor on the market whether high-speed, low-speed or orbital.

500 Series Hydraulic Drives for Truck Mixers:

The central direct drives for truck mounted concrete Mixers are suitable for application on machines with drum capacity from 1 to 13 cu.m.

600 Series - Wheel Drive

This range of gearboxes has been designed mainly as wheel drives for hydrostatic vehicles, and is particularly suitable for application on fork lift trucks, construction equipments, off-road and farm equipments.

They can be used with small wheels, of 10" and above, both single and double tyres, and therefore they can be easily used on fork lift trucks of all sizes.

They are available in many different versions, with Multi disc brake in oil bath, for parking or double-effect : negative for parking and positive as pedal brake for emergency. (A disengagement device to tow the vehicle in an emergency is optionally available.)

700C SERIES WITH MG MOTORS, 700C SERIES AND TRASMITAL-KYB 700CK SERIES -TRACK DRIVE UNITS

These transmission units are ideal for translation drive on tracked vehicles such as excavators, hydraulic drills, cold planers, asphalt compactors, and other crawled undercarriages.

The series offers 15 basic sizes for transmittable power of up to 220.000 Nm.

In construction terms they are rotating body type planetary gear units with one or more reduction stages, with static safety brake incorporated.

They are equipped with piston type hydraulic motors with fixed or variable displacement, and for the smaller sizes, also with high-efficiency semi-integrated orbital motors designed and constructed by TRASMITAL. Compactness, lightweight, efficiency and smooth operation are key features of 700 CK series.

700T Series - Slew Drive Gear Boxes

This wide range includes gearboxes for slew drive of excavators, all kinds of mobile cranes, tower cranes of construction sites, harbour and deck cranes. A large selection of reduction ratios are available for all sizes, along with built-in negative brakes and adaptors for all the most common hydraulic and electric motors

The high capacity bearings on the output shaft are designed to take the heavy radial loads due to the slew ring/pinion gearing. The slew pinions are available with many different modules and number of teeth to suit the various kinds of slew rings on the market. The range covers 11 of T series different sizes for torque of up to 70,000 Nm

800 Series - Hydraulic Winches

These winches are designed for application on mobile cranes and similar equipments.

There are 5 basic sizes with Torque upto 42,000 Nm and max line rope upto 170,000 N.

The construction, with a planetary gearbox and built-in negative brake inside the drum, reduces the dimensions to a minimum and allows a very easy installation.

The design is modular. The gearbox is supplied with the support bearing separately to enable the customer to manufacture their own drum and support structure.
